These pictures are often in no particular order, and I make no excuses or apologies for the blatantly touristy narration: In this one, Volcan Arenal is in the background. It is currently active and occasionally spits out chunks of lava. I don't recommend paying too much to see this though as it only happens maybe once every few hours.
